Final Fantasy VIII

Call me nutters! So essentially, I've been replaying FFVIII and in a sudden desire to see the ending FMV, I dled it and am now sobbing my eyes out over the part where older Laguna finally returns to Winhill after almost two decades and looks at the grave of Raine Loire.
*weeps*
I wonder how Laguna felt walking up those hills again, and finally coming face to face with his past. After his memory of when he proposed, when he comes up to her grave and finally looks at the stone that said, "Raine Loire"... oh man.
*weeps some more*
Rinoa and Squall may be the love of FFVIII, but oh, I think Laguna and Raine were one of the main reasons why this game stayed with me so long. Yes, it was cool that Julia's daughter and Laguna's son fell in love, but Raine's story and her story with Laguna always made me just so sad because so many years had passed and he never saw her again! She never saw him again, and she died after giving birth to Squall and for them to end like that...
*wails* I am so pathetic right now.
