Manga owns my soul. I just thought I'd mention that. ^_^
It owns my soul in a different way from anime and Harry Potter. Part of my life revolves around these three, and I just read up to the latest bits of Naruto.
I knew it.
I knew it.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All those anti-Itachi fiends can go suck their own backwash now! >_< Alright, so Itachi is still a nasty little bastard, but... *shrugs* Maybe some of you know what I mean. Even if the character is one of the sickest creations since fried twinkies, I usually find myself worshiping him or her. Itachi - has the most fantastic lines.
Akito - Fruits Basket. I need say nothing about my obsession regarding him.
Hao - Shaman King. It's hard to explain why I like him. Perhaps because he really is bordering on evil, but he has an aura that makes you want to drown. It's rather scary.
Knives - Trigun. This crazy maniac tried to kill all the humans. There's more in the manga than in the anime, but you have to wonder about the mental stability of someone who saw one of his 'own' tortured into an unrecognizable mass by the humans he hates. Lots of love for his madness.
Lucifer - HunterxHunter. A lot of people actually like him, but I'd prefer he not be reduced to a someone who cries about killing. I can't tell whether he likes killing or not, but in no way does he regret what he does. There's something powerfully attractive about that.
Rosiel - Angel Sanctuary. His madness stemms from a form of twisted grief, and the capricious quality of their God is beautifully channeled through his need to wreck bloody revenge.
Dakki - Houshin Engi is so freaking awesome. She controlled so much of the scene from beginning to end and even after finishing the manga series, I don't really know what her full purpose was. But she killed and caused the death of more people than any other villain and is the only character I know who veiled a scene of sickening sorrow with parody. Human meat patties anyone?
Need to go and finish the essay and edit the Sakura fic. I kind of want to write Kirihara-gen. Maybe Mizuki-gen too. *ponders* Hm.
