Dec. 13th, 2005 08:29 pmIt snowed buckets today and there were actually a few moments during the snow where you could actually see the blue sky. This is rare, let me assure you.
Let me think... about ten inches total? A lot of it was melted away by the city system of preventing accidents (water spouts in the streets and sidewalks that turn on when it's either a) cold enough, or b) snowing). It works really well, but it's also a bit odd to be traipsing through a foot of snow and then to be sprayed by ice-cold water.
Good thing I was wearing my Toyama Boots. The official footgear of any enterprising citizen!
Woot! Since I don't count today and I don't count the actual day itself... seven more days until I leave to go home!
