Dec. 7th, 2004 11:36 amGot a lot to do before Christmas. The Akito Holiday fic for the ML is due on the 18th; lucky for me, waffy holiday fics are so fun to write. ;)
I decided to leave behind the usual angst. Well. I mean as much as I can. It's almost impossible not to angst with Akito in the picture, and imagine her with the Mabudachi Trio and Kureno when they're all younger? My heart does flips at the idea of a time when Akito and the four of them were basically the only Juunishi. (Poor Ritsu and Kagura) Imagine what would have happened at the New Years celebration. And just what might Shigure give young!pretty!smiling!Akito?

After scrambling out of FF.net more than two years ago, I'm still looking for some open-ended archive to host some of my fics at. =( It sucks that FF.net cut NC17 fics out. Lucky there's LJ and websites. It's weird getting reviews for fics that are literally years old. I guess that's the beauty of FF.net - no matter how far back you go, you will always be guaranteed shitty fic. XD I was rereading some of my old fic and I just about cringed to see the melodramatic plots and almost OOC characterization. So glad I don't have to submit Akito to my old writing. *cuddles*

For some reason, I have access to an updated flist only if I click 'recent' first and then go from there to 'friends'. I can't access it through 'friends' on the main page.
And I can't go to older posts, because it just goes back to the previous day.
I hope I didn't mess something up...

Dec. 7th, 2004 10:02 pmMy final exam for Elizabethan Literature is tomorrow and I'm plodding along just fine. Am surprised at how well the studying is going. But then, here I am on LJ updating my progress. >_< I feel as if there's something odd about that. I love wireless by the way. I'm also simultaneously working on my Akito Holiday Fic - hitting a point in the timeline I haven't even gone near yet. Yay.
What I love most about the holiday season? This sudden plethora of fic. There's going to be a good number of new fics on Akito cause of this occasion. I LOVE Akito-fic. Have I mentioned that before? =)

I decided, for my own sanity, to keep a current list of all BL/Yaoi manga that comes to the US. I know I'm missing a couple, so fill me in if you feel something should be there. It starts with the newest and upcoming titles, with the oldest ones at the end. Sorted by date.
