*shrugs* Hey. Every fandom has them. Rant. Argue. Deal.
Hypocritical? Yes. I have little love for people who claim to love slash and squeal about the adorableness of Harry and Draco and then in the next breath, praise a man who has a penchant for dealing harsh blows to the same 'adorableness'. It's like drinking pepsi and then loudly telling other people how you only touch organic foods. Or perhaps criticizing Enron and then proudly defending Cheney and his connections to Halliburton. I love hypocrisy. It gives me a reason to laugh at you.
And in a friendly reminder - female-bashing is as much as a crime as gay-bashing. Don't get on a high horse about being so open about homosexuality and then forcing me to crash you to the ground the next time I hear you sneer about females in anime, manga, HP, and other series. I loathe, absolutely loathe, double-standards.
Sure. We have breasts. Sure, we don't have nice cocks or perfect arseholes. No, we cannot be stimulated by anal sex because we don't have a prostate. Yeah, we're not perfectly streamlined like men so hawt boi on boi sex is aesthetically pleasing. But fuck you! ^____^ WOMEN ROCK! Women happen to give birth! Not men! A majority of women in the world are still not equal in law and practice! More women than men are suffering in poverty because women, by far, are left with the children. Women are dying by the droves, often because they're standing by as innocent civilains. Women are raped the most during war. Women have suffered through the ages because men started the wars.
And guess what?
GAY WOMEN EXIST. Deal.
And oh yes - men as old your grandpa are going at it. Think about that. Men will not always stay young, fit, and horny. They will get old. They will get flabby. They will lose some hair. And they will *gasp*horror* wrinkle!!!!!!!!

And Akito (ooh!). And Tohru. And Kagura. And Nami. And Sakura. And Pansy. And Ginny. And to all the anime/manga/etc women/girls out there - more love from me.
