Sep. 15th, 2004 04:16 amI've been back for a couple of days now; honestly though? I'm tired. I think travelling takes a chunk of out of you and sometimes seeing things you didn't expect to see will do the same. -_-
On another note: word of advice - unless you're sure your friends are the sort who can get through a few days without being all lovey-dovey, do not travel by yourself with a couple. Three is definitely a crowd and while I'm usually not too bothered by it, five days of kissing and 'baby' is enough to even grate a Buddhist. And I'm no Buddhist. *sigh* I should be used to it after sharing a dorm room with her for two years, but since I made a firm rule in our second year that he could only spend the night at our dorm once in a while, the occasional night he did stay didn't bother me terribly. I simply popped in my earphones and went to bed with music playing. Most of the time, if they wanted extra time, she spent it at his apartment.
It wasn't as complicated as it sounds, but I mean, I accepted it because that was how they were but darn it. When I'm in a strange city, I'd like not to be left alone for part of the time. =)
Chapter 98 from Fruits Basket was absolutely wonderful. Head to
altar_of_akito for a detailed look at that chapter. ^_^
I read, I think, up to Chapter 374? of Inuyasha due to one of those manga magazines with all the latest chapters of popular manga. I have to say... I wasn't expecting the direction it went.
( spoilers for Inuyasha )
Am so craving this certain dish of green beans from one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in the US. -_-
22nd of September is my return day - hope I live past it. STUPID CRAMPS!
