I have terrible luck with disks. My second disk got corrupted and I lost half of my paper. That was three hours of work down the drain, and it means that tonight, I won't have time to work on my other paper concerning the events currently going on in Pakistan. Fwah. I've switched to our school's FTP server, so I can access all files by saving within the two, but darn it! I liked disks! Even if they get corrupted and lost and all that. *cries*

I so want my Akito fic back from my Lost Child. If I could find it, I would be happy. The Corrupted One, though unopenable at home, was salvaged (most of it at least) by our school lab. Yay for tech support. But missing: one Naruto fic. One paper. My soul, oh, my soul.

I read the latest chapter of Naruto. XDXDXDXD Those keeping up; AUGH! They're BACK! I won't say who's back, but THEY'RE BACK!

Seriously though, I've developed a kink for Kakashi/Sakura fics. It's a little weird, since I'm so turned off Snape/Hermione, but perhaps it's the pairing. Pink and silver look so pretty together, and their heights contrast so wonderfully, that just the idea of her being small and delicate enough for him to hold in one arm as she sleeps against him... >_< Kakashi and Sakura are absolutely breathtaking together. Whenever I read a good fic (which is very, very rare) regarding the two, I can hardly breathe.

But not too many... I may have to compile a list, but yes, there're too few in general. *sigh*

( Three Harry Potter Recs )

I want to rec so many things, but I just really do what I'm in the mood for. Lately, I've been Naruto-obsessed (with the hankering for Akito and ONLY Akito fics -_- I'm a demanding woman), especially concerning Kakashi and Sakura. I still adore character-fics. The number of Sasuke/Sakura fics is a little daunting, and I don't find most of them very appealing. Oh, I like the pairing, but I would like less romance and more story. No more angsting in the 'twilight'. Though angsting would be very good.

A new burst of adoration for Percy Weasley. Am currently hunting for fics regarding him. I'm neutral on the Evil!Good! dichotomy. I don't exactly want him to be this turncoat, but I don't want him to be some goodygoodytwoshoes either. It's a painful split within me. *wink*

Would like to read Percy/Bill fics. But that's just because of the dynamics. Tall and gangly with tall and graceful. And who is who? 0_0 Nobody knooowwwws. But mabye I'll try to finish that fic. There are tons of small ficlets all started (but unfinished) that I need to write for several (very old) birthdays that have passed. =P Am lazy beyond comparison this year.

( Why It's hard to rec HP fics now )

Kind of blathering today, but I felt good. Even with my tuition forfeiture, the cost of my car being towed, the textbooks, the scraped car, the lack of sleep, the constant papers, the corruption/loss of my disks... I'm doing pretty well. Perhaps it's excitement over the fact that I'll be in China for all of August, most of September, and part of July. And luckily, I probably will celebrate my birthday in the US. So I'll get to watch friends get drunk silly as I drive everyone home.
