I suppose I really should be happy that more people love Severus Snape now, with the books more or less on 'his side' when it concerns whether he's actually evil or not. But sometimes I wish he was still this character that only a few (relatively few, considering the size of the total HP fandom) loved and adored, and where the fic quality was distinctively higher than it is now. And while I do like romantic fanfiction, I'm in a phase where I'm more keen for character-studies, nonRomo, and material of that sort. An example might be a detailed look at Snape's relationship with his Slytherin students, or perhaps a story exploring the background of Percy's supposed deflection.
Definitely problems with finishing fics as of the moment. They all start out with me excitedly typing a new idea, and then *poof*, I lose steam and the story may or may not die in it's tracks.
-_-;;
Anyways, I went to my first Creative Writing class... the professor's like treadmills on rocket fuel. She's awesome. She's this redhead woman who worse fishnet stockings and leather lace up boots with this short skirt and... ah! She's too cool! She almost intimidates me, but this may be the class I've been waiting my whole college career for; fiction writing!
