Though not entirely, there's definitely similarities between the way he thinks and the way she does. Which puzzles me somewhat. Kakashi is, in my opinion, almost uncommonly kind and gentle toward Sakura. He doesn't really push her and he's constantly protecting or trying to comfort her (first opening song, the end of the Chuunin Exam, after the first serious Sasuke/Naruto fight).
After reading Ch.242, I'm wondering whether Kakashi somehow sees Obito in her. I've complained quite loudly about the way Kakashi treats Sakura, but what if it isn't an oversight? What if there's deeper reasons why Kakashi could pet her on the head and say that things will go back to the way it was?
Kakashi is so incredibly different. And he... there's this grief I couldn't believe.
Oh wow oh wow. This is just going to garner more fans. And the Obito/Kakashi fics are going to proliferate. It seems favourable to consider that of his three students, it seems like Sakura might embody the most qualities of Obito and Rin. *g* But then I'm biased.
And YES! I turned in my portfolio today *checks clock* er, yesterday. And my next final exam isn't until Wednesday, so I can totally relax.
