And I have decided I am in love with daily_snitch. Because without it, I would not have found painless_j who has compiled a Master List of Sirius/Draco fics!

This is an awesomely odd pairing, and though I have no personal ability to write this, I go nuts over the two. It's a bit of that older/younger kink in me, that borders on dangerous. As soon as I have some time to sit down, I'm poring over that list and reading what I can. It's so wonderful. *glee*

The altar_of_akito business cards are fab and pink. Very good. *evil grin* And my kimono is all securely packed into my suitcase. Yaoi-Con is in two days! =) I'm almost having heart attacks with complete musgrave. There's so much I plan on... um... doing. Though I have to admit, the events are a little hazy in my mind - but hey! It's yaoi! That's all I need to know. Thanks to the good bit of knowledge provided by fablespinner, I am now bringing cash instead of just credit cards. Otherwise, I'd have ended up looking helplessly on as everything is bought while I finger plastic with tears in my eyes. =(

However, I'm limiting myself at this particular con. I'm allowing myself to buy only a few doujinshi. Everything else will be focused on things that are only available at the Con.

I'm also prepping myself by rereading some essays and books regarding feminism, misogyny, power, gender, sexuality, etc. Just in case I need to have an intelligent debate. *crosses fingers*

Due to a decision to do Secret Santa with friends instead of buying one gift for each of them (which would have resulted in a bankruptcy), I am suddenly free from the Christmas frenzy of shopping. Which means I kind of want to break down and do the Christmas Card thing. Though I don't know how dedicated I could be. I really, really, really, really want to. Maybe this would be a good way to send some of my yaoi manga and doujinshi off...
